Tulips from Dallas Arboretum

Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens

Thinking about how astonishing the Dallas Arboretum is, makes me want to take the 4 hours road trip from Houston to enjoy the beauty of the well-manicured landscape that this place unveils. I was even more impressed when I found out the Martha Stewart has been here and found it “extraordinary”.

With 66 acres of land located along the shore of White Rock Lake, the Botanical Garden has become a must for visitors that have Dallas in their itinerary.

This particular visit was the Dallas Arboretum 25t anniversary celebration

We used to live in the Dallas area and have visited this extraordinary garden a few times. If you live in DFW or if you have visited the area and never been to the Dallas Arboretum, you don’t know what you are missing.

Every March hundreds of people come to the Dallas Arboretum to see the tulips
The Arboretum has a variety of colors of tulips

Tulip happens to be one of my favorite flowers, and if you visit the Arboretum at the beginning of spring you’ll be mesmerized by the different blooms and contrasting colors that the botanical garden displays.

Besides the remarkable landscape, the Dallas Arboretum catered to the whole community. They offer educational programs as well as weekend series events for the everyone interested. And that includes early morning walks, Saturday morning yoga, cooking classes and demos. For the little ones they offer a Summer Camp program, how cool it would be to have your little munchkins take advantage of the exceptional nature retreat.

There are several brunch opportunities ie. Easter Brunch, Mother’s Day Brunch.

This is an October event when the whole park transforms itself with pumpkins and photo opportunities through out the Arboretum.

I must say that the Dallas Arboretum is not just a springtime attraction, they have many attractions that encompass all the seasons.
