SeaWorld San Antonio

We love theme parks, and Sea World is one of our favorites, from the rides to the shows it has something for everyone of every age. We have been going for a while now and this trip was a few years back so we are due to a visit very soon. We love short vacations sprinkled throughout the year and SeaWorld is always an adventure.

Sea World

Gabrielli was 10 years old, on this trip, so extreme rides were not on her itinerary. But we did enjoy lots of shows, and some of the not so extreme rides that the park has to offer.

In this particular trip, we were in Sea World for just one day which made us prioritize what we wanted to see.

Feeding the Dolphin

they liked to be patted

That’s how we started our day, and it made such a great start. From there we start checking on show times cause we did not want to miss any. There are lots of them but some have only one showing per day.

This guys are amazing!

Our family loves dolphins so anytime we can enjoy a show, we’ll be there! The dolphins are trained to do all sorts of thicks and the acrobats on this specific show are very impressive, they jump from an altitude that is frightening to the average person. Also, if you like comedy you should get there a little early to be a part of their little surprise comedy act.

Such amazing creatures

Still, in the same show, they have the belugas. The beluga whales are so smart, and we always have a great time watching them. They even blow kisses and wave to the audience. They also have to some very intelligent birds that fly around in the theater for a moment.

These guys always make the whole family laugh, Sea Lion High. It always impresses me how they are able to train some of these majestic creatures and most of the time they are flawless.

After we walk around and saw some of the attractions and rode some of the best roller coasters, it’s time to go see Shamu and seat on the air conditioned theater to enjoy the killer whales. We usually try to see the show twice cause we love it that much.

This trip was in 2006, when the trainers would be in the pool with the whales

After a day full of fun making memories. We had the last memory to make, and this was a super special one. We had Dinner with Shamu. we went behind the scene and enjoyed some yummy food and some great picture opportunities.

Again, this was back in 2006 when we could get closer to the killer whales.

We had such a great time. The dinner was wonderful, and to be able to get so up close to these massive creatures was a dream.

This trip was back in 2006. It was so rewarding to bring all these memories back to life.

Got a question? I would love to hear from you.
